Vision of the Future - Makerspace Website
As my vision of the future I have created a website for my school's new Makerspace. We have purchased an enormous amount of new tools, kits and technology and I have only just begun to catalogue them and connect them to my Makerspace user website. This website is an important aspect of our new makerspace as it allows for a space where students and teachers alike can learn to use tools, find inspiration and new project ideas. My Makerspace website is only in it's infancy, and there are many many things to be added with time as we unbox and unveil the new materials, but for now I have focused on the Glowforge, primarily, and added 3D printing, Lego Mindstorms, Knitting and Crocheting and Wind Turbine to the list of kits and technology in our Makerspace. Additionally, I have included a vision, rules and resources, all of which will be built on as time goes on.
